Outline

The River City Park project is a comprehensive urban development situated at the convergence of historical and modern city elements, stretching over a 4-hectare site at the tip of a disused railway yard by the Vltava River, adjacent to the Karlin district from the 18th century.

The masterplan centers on a dense arrangement of mixed-use buildings which include office spaces, retail areas, a hotel, and restaurants, all integrated into a maturely landscaped riverside setting.

This setup is not only meant to extend the Karlin district to the riverbank but also to incorporate a green promenade that doubles as a flood protection barrier. The connectivity of the area is further enhanced by pedestrian bridges linking the site across Rohanské nábrezí street and over the Vltava River to nearby recreational islands and districts, promoting a seamless integration with the surrounding urban fabric.
